HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_37_12/13/1960 ORDINANCE NO. 37 AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, REGULATING THE LOCATION OF CLOTHES LINES WITHIN VILLAGE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 : All clothes lines installed and located on the premises within the Village shall be installed on locations which shall not be conspicuous from the public streets of the Village or conspicuous from adjoining properties. Clothes lines extending from second or higher floors of buildings within the Village are prohibited unless such clothes lines are properly screened from the public streets of the Village and properly screened from adjoining property; and all persons maintaining clothes lines in violation of this section shall be deemed to be maintaining a nuisance. Section 2 : This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage and approval as provided by law.
