AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
WHEREAS, sub - section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of
the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council
the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of
the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition
of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, JUPITER INLET BEACH COLONY, INC., the owner of
certain land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed a
petition with the Village Council requesting that the land de-
scribed therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village
of Tequesta, copy of said petition being attached hereto and made a
part hereof as if fully and completely set forth herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the parcels of land described in the
petition hereinabove mentioned and hereto attached are hereby
annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the
same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta with the
same force and effect as though the same had been originally
incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
And, further, that said land shall be subject to all of
the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON SECOND READING this C day of September,
1960.

following described property, to -wit:
NORTH PARCEL: A parcel of land in Government

East, Palm Beach County, Florida, bounded as
follows:
On the West, by the easterly right -of -wa line
of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1�, as
shown on State Road Department's Right -Of -Way
Map, recorded in State and County Road Plat
Book 2, Pages 105 to 118 inclusive, Public
Records of Palm Beach County, Florida; on the
East, by a line parallel to, and 263 feet
easterly from, measured at right angles to said
easterly right -of -way line; on the South, by a
line parallel to, and 1,127.52 feet northerly
from, measured at right angles to, the south
line of said Section 30; and on the North, by a
line parallel to, and 60 feet northerly from,
measured at right angles to, the south line of
the herein described parcel.
SOUTH PARCEL: A parcel of land in Government
Lot 4, Section 30, Township 40 South, Range 43
East, Palm Beach County, Florida, bounded as
follows:
On the West, by the easterly right -of -wa line
of State Road No. 5 (U. S. Highway No. 1�, as
shown on State Road Department's Right -Of -Way Map,
recorded in State and County Road Plat Book 2,
Pages 105 to 118, inclusive, Public Records of
Palm Beach County, Florida; on the East, by a
line parallel to, and 263 feet easterly from,
measured at right angles to said easterly right -
of -way line; on the South, by a line parallel to,
and 150 feet northerly from, measured at right
angles to, the South line of said Section 30;
and on the North, by a line parallel to, and 60
feet northerly from, measured at right angles to,
the south line of the herein described parcel;
hereby petitions the Village of Tequesta, Florida, to annex said
property to the territorial limits of said Village; and consents
to the immediate adoption of all ordinances in connection therewith.
