AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 18 OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA TO CORRECT (MISSION THEREIN
WHEREAS, the Village Council adopted Ordinance No. 18
on first reading on January 13, 1959 in and by which certain
parcels of land were annexed and the municipal limits of the
Village were re- defined; and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
Council that one parcel was inadvertently and erroneously omitted
from said ordinance pertaining to annexation,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as
follows
Section 1 . That the following described parcel of land
is hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta,
and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta
with the same force and effect as though the same had been
originally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof:
A tract of land in Government Lot 3, Section 36,
Township 40 South, Range 42 East, Palm Beach
County, Florida, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the
waters of Jupiter River, Northwest Fork (some-
times also called Loxahatchee River) with the
southeasterly line of Lot 16, Block C, Jupiter
Manors, Section 1, Sheet 4; according to the plat
thereof recorded in Plat Book 12, page 38, public .
records of Palm Beach County, Florida; thence
North 45 degrees 34 minutes East, along the south -
easterly line of said Lot 16, a distance of 6 feet,
more or less, to an iron pipe; thence continue
along the same course a distance of 407.2 feet to
an iron pipe; thence North 48 degrees 12 minutes
East a distance of 30.34 feet to a point; thence
North 49 degrees 31 minutes West a distance of
607.8 feet to the beginning of a curve concave to
the northeast and having a radius of 1,175 feet;
thence northwester)y along the arc of said curve
a distance of 335.64 feet to the end of said
curve; thence North 33 degrees 09 minutes West
along tangent to said curve, a distance of 267.26
feet to a point; thence South 56 degrees 51 minutes

West and at right angles to the preceding
a distance of 10 feet, more or less, to he
waters of said Jupiter River, Northwest Fork
(sometimes also called Loxahatchee River); thence
southeasterly along the waters of said Jupiter
River, Northwest Fork, a distance of 1,360 feet,
more or less, to the point of beginning, contain-
ing 11.78 acres, more or less; together with any
and all riparian rights thereunto belonging or in
any manner appertaining; subject to the rights of
the public in the northeasterly 25 feet of said
land for public highway purposes; together with a
perpetual easement over, along and upon the present
hard surfaced County Road so as to afford means of
ingress and egress to and from said property, all
of the northeasterly side thereof, and the bridge
presently maintained by the County of Palm Beach,
Florida across the North Fork of said Jupiter
River.
And, further, that said parcel shall be subject to all
of the ordinances, regulations and code of said Village.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall operate as an
amendment to and correction of Ordinance No. 18.

1959.
