HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance_24_11/10/1959 '* - 0 0 t � 9 � � ORDINANCE NO. 24 �o AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA WHEREAS, sub- section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition of the owner or owners thereof; and WHEREAS, JUPITER WATER COMPANY, the owner of certain land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed a petition with the Village Council requesting that the land described therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, copy of said petition being attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully and completely set forth herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: Section 1 . That the parcels of land described in the petition hereinabove mentioned and hereto attached are hereby annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta with the same force and effect as though the same had been originally incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof. And, further, that said lands shall be subject to all of the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village. PASSED AND ADOPTED ON FIRST READING this d Ty day of November, 1959.
