ORDINANCE NO. 24

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
WHEREAS, sub- section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of
the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council
the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of
the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition
of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, JUPITER WATER COMPANY, the owner of certain
land situated in Palm Beach County, Florida, has filed a petition
with the Village Council requesting that the land described
therein be annexed to the territorial limits of the Village of
Tequesta, copy of said petition being attached hereto and made a
part hereof as if fully and completely set forth herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1 . That the parcels of land described in the
petition hereinabove mentioned and hereto attached are hereby
annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the
same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta with
the same force and effect as though the same had been originally
incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
And, further, that said lands shall be subject to all of
the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON FIRST READING this d Ty day of November,

JUPITER WATER COMPANY, a Florida corporation, being the owner
of the following described parcels of land situated in Palm Beach
County, Florida, to Witt
PARCEL l: A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40
South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
For a point of beginning, commence at a point in the
south line of Section 30, Township 40 South, Range 43
East, at a distance of 215.21 feet west of the southeast V
corner of the southwest quarter of said section; thence
northerly at right angles to said south line of Section
30, a distance of 300 feet to a point; said point being '
the point of beginning and the southeast corner of the
tract of land herein described: thence continue northerly
on the same course a distance of 313.76 feet to a point; t/
thence westerly, at right angles to the last described O
course, a distance of 250 feet; thence southerly, at
right angles to the last described course, a distance
of 313 .76 feet; thence easterly, at right angles to the
last described course, a distance of 250 feet to the

PARCEL 2: A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40
South, Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the south line of said

U. S. Highway No. 1 (State Road No. 5); thence westerly
along the south line of said Section 30, a distance of
250 feet to the point of beginning; thence northerly at
right angles a distance of 300 feet; thence westerly, M I

of 250 feet; thence southerly at right angles, a distance
of 300 feet to a point in the south line of said Section
30; thence easterly along the south line of said Section
4 30, a distance of 250 feet to the point of beginning,

and running easterly and westerly between the west right -
of -way line of U. S. Highway No. 1 (State Road No. 5),

South, Range 43 East, Palm BE,ach County, Florida, more
particularly described as follows:
Commence at a point in the west line of said Section 30
at a distance of 1,004.75 feet north of the southwest
corner thereof, said point being in the north right -of-
way line of an 80 -foot proposed road and the point of
beginning of the herein described parcel of land; thence
continue northerly along said west line of Section 30
a distance of 435 feet to a point; thence easterly, making VJA,
an angle of 90 degrees from south to east, a distance of /W,
300 feet to a point; thence southerly, parallel to the,,�,,w
said west line of Section 30 a distance of 465.82 feet to
a point in the are of a curve concave to the south whose
radius is 1,540 feet and ce. .ntral angle is 11 degrees
r 61 's 13 minutes 55 seconds, said point being in the northerly
right-of-way line of the aforementioned proposed road,
making an angle of 78 degrees .9R minutes 05 seconds from
north to northwest to the tangent of said curve; thence
northwesterly and westerly along the arc of said curve a
distance of 301.89 feet to a point of tangency; thence
westerly along a line tangent to said curve a distance
of 0.17 feet to the point of beginning.

hereby petitions THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA to annex said property
to the territorial limits of said Village, and consents to the
immediate adoption of all ordinances in connection therewith.
