ORDINANCE NO. 22
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE CF TEQUESTA
ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS TO THE,-TERRITORIAL
LIMITS OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA
WHEREAS, sub- section (29) of Section 3 of ARTICLE V of
the Charter of the Village of Tequesta grants the Village Council
the power to annex any lands adjoining or within three miles of
the territorial boundaries of said municipality upon the petition
of the owner or owners thereof; and
WHEREAS, certain owners of land situated in Palm Beach
County, Florida, have filed petitions with the Village Council
requesting that the lands described therein be annexed to the
territorial limits of the Village of Tequesta, copies of said
petitions being attached hereto and made a part hereof as if
fully and completely set forth herein,
NOWD THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That the parcels of land described in the
petitions hereinabove mentioned and hereto attached are hereby
annexed and incorporated into the Village of Tequesta, and the
same shall be and become a part of the Village of Tequesta with
the same force and effect as though the same had been originally
incorporated into the territorial boundaries thereof.
And, further, that said lands shall be subject to all of
the ordinances, regulations and codes of said Village.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON FIRST READING this 14th day of July 1959*

Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the centerline of State Road No. 5 (U.S.
Highway No.1) set at a distance of 1,210.49 feet northerly measured
along the said centerline from the South line of Section 30, Toi-m-
ship 40 South, Range 43 East, run thence 61est and parallel to the
South line of Section 30 and along the North right -of -way line of
Tequesta Road (El Portal) for a distance of 458.22 feet to the point
of beginning of the parcel of land herein to be described; thence
continuing westerly along said line for a distance of 100.0 feet to
F a point; thence northerly and parallel to the centerline of said
State Road No. 5 (U,S.Highway No.!) for a distance of 210.0 feet to
a point; thence East and parallel to the South line of said Section
