HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_44-95/96_09/24/1996 I RESOLUTION NO. 44 - 95/96 • A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE VILLAGE BUDGETS ADOPTED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1995. WHEREAS, it was necessary for the Village of Tequesta to adopt budgets for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 1995; and WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, deems it necessary and appropriate to amend said budgets to provide appropriations adequate for the authorization of expenditures necessary for conducting Village operations for the Fiscal Year ending September 30, 1996. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Village of Tequesta fiscal year budgets commencing October 1, 1995, be and are hereby amended and adopted pursuant to Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and made a part of this Resolution. • Section 2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to execute "intra- fund" transfers within the line item appropriations of individual Village fund budgets, as he deems necessary, throughout the fiscal year, to enable continuity of municipal operations. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember Hansen , who moved its adoption. A summary of the revisions made to the attached budget document "Exhibit A" are as follows: GENERAL FUND • REVENUES • Increased $10,875 for DOH Grant for EMS special equipment (12 Lead ECG Monitor /Defibrillator) • Fund Balance 10/1/95 increased $53,445: funds provided from reserves for compensated balances 49,820; EMS Impact fees $3,625. EXPENDITURES • Executive, personal services increased $2,040 for salary increase for Village Manager. • Finance Administration, personal services increased $13,500 for employee termination pay accruals. • Legal, Legal services increased $71,500. • Police, Administration Division increased $49,270 for early retirement incentive Pay Plan and termination pay accruals. • Fire Rescue, Emergency Medical Division Capital Outlay increased $14,500 for special equipment purchase. • Thomas G.
