HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_25-90/91_07/18/1991 RESOLUTION NO. 25 -90/91 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN APPENDIX TO AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA REGARDING THE ENHANCEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF THE E -911 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBER SYSTEM. WHEREAS, Palm Beach County and Village of Tequesta have; agreed upon certain responsibilities for the enhancement and'. maintenance of the E -911 Emergency Telephone Number Systems; as indicated in the attached Appendix marked Exhibit "A "; and WHEREAS, the Village and Palm Beach County have previouslyl entered into an Interlocal Agreement dated November 6, 1990, for the upgrade and maintenance of the Village's Emergency(. • Telephone System; and WHEREAS, the Village and Palm Beach County now desire toy, modify the applicable equipment and maintenance relative to the Interlocal Agreement dated November 6, 1990; and WHEREAS, approving this Appendix to the Interlocal' Agreement is in the best interest of the citizens of the', Village of Tequesta as it will benefit the health, safety and, welfare of said citizens. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council ofl the Village of Tequesta, Florida, as follows: Section 1. The Village Council hereby ratifies and; confirms the foregoing recitals. Section 2. The Appendix attached hereto and marked as Exhibit "A" is hereby approved and made a part of the Interlocal Agreement between the Village and Palm Beach( County dated November 6, 1990. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember Edward C. Howell who moved its adoption. The Resolution was seconded by Councilmember William E. Burckart and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION Earl L. Collings William E. Burckart Edward C.
