RESOLUTION NO. 24 -90/91
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY,
FLORIDA, APPROVING A NEWSLETTER EDITORIAL
POLICY FOR USE BY VILLAGE STAFF IN
PREPARATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA NEWSLETTER.
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta publishes a Newsletter
to help inform area residents and business people of
government actions and activities of community -wide interest;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Village to
produce guidelines for the content of the Newsletter; and
WHEREAS, the Village staff has prepared a Village of
Tequesta Newsletter Editorial Policy Statement in this
regard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT:
Section 1. The Village of Tequesta Newsletter Editorial
Policy Statement, attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a
part of this Resolution is hereby approved.
Section 2. The Village Manager is hereby directed to
produce the Village of Tequesta Newsletter in accordance with
the Village of Tequesta Newsletter Editorial Policy Statement
recognizing that frequency of publication is subject to
change as may be amended from time to time by the Village
Council subject to budget.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember
Ron T. Ma.ckail who moved its adoption. The Resolution
was seconded by Councilmember William E. Burckar and upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed
and adopted this 20th day of June, A.D. 1991.

Pursuant to the unanimous request of the Village Council at the
Village Council Meeting of June 6, 1991, attached hereto, please
find the above - referenced Resolution which approves the Newsletter
Editorial Policy Statement recommended and tentatively approved on
June 6th.
It is recommended that the Village Council adopt Resolution No. 24-
90/91.
