HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_21-90/91_06/06/1991 RESOLUTION NO. 21 -90/91 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ISSUE A PROCLAMATION IN RECOGNITION OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA'S 34TH BIRTHDAY ON JUNE 4, 1991. WHEREAS, the Members of the Village Council deem it to be of importance that the Village citizens be made aware of the 34th Anniversary of the Incorporation of the Village of Tequesta on June 4, 1991; and WHEREAS, all Tequesta citizens are urged to be cognizant of this memorable occasion in our community. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: • Section 1. The Mayor is authorized and requested to issue a proclamation in recognition of the Village of i Tequesta's 34th Birthday, a copy of which is attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and made a part of this Resolution. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember Ron T. Mackail who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by j Councilmember Edward C. Nowell and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION William E. Burckart Joseph N. Capretta Edward C. Howell Ron T. NOW, THEREFORE, I do hereby proclaim June 4, 1991 as Tequesta Day in recognition of Tequesta's "Birthday" on June 4, 1957, urging all citizens to be cognizant of this special day in the history of the Village of Tequesta.
