RES OLUTION NO. 12 -90/91
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY,
FLORIDA, PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS TO THE
VILLAGE BUDGETS ADOPTED FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 1990.
WHEREAS, it was necessary for the Village of Tequesta
to adopt budgets for the fiscal year commencing October 1,
1990; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of
Tequesta, Florida deems it necessary and appropriate to
amend said budgets to provide appropriations adequate for
the authorization of expenditures necessary for conducting
Village operations through the fiscal year ending September
30, 1991.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the General Fund, Improvement Bond
Revenue Fund, Improvement Bond Revenue Sinking Fund,
Capital Improvement Fund, Water Enterprise Fund and Law
Enforcement Trust Fund fiscal year budgets commencing
October 1, 1990, be and are hereby amended and adopted
pursuant to Exhibit "A" attached to and made a part of this
Resolution.
Section 2. The Village Manager is hereby authorized to
execute "Intra• Fund" Transfers within the line item
appropriations of individual Village Fund Budgets, as he
deems necessary throughout the fiscal year, to enable
continuity of municipal operations.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by
Councilmember Ron T. Macka.il who moved its
adoption. The motion was seconded by
Councilmember _E L. Collings and upon being
put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

SUBJECT: Budget Revisions for FY 1991 Budgets
(Council Agenda Item 3/28/91)
Attached is the "Revised Budget Document" for FY 1991.
The revisions include the items recommended for deletion by the
Finance and Administration Committee of Council at the meeting
held March 14, 1991, which was also discussed by Council at the
Village Council Meeting held the same day. Following is a list
of the items deleted:
Seabrook Road Drainage Project $ 50,000
Public Works /Water Dept. Garage 37,000
Police Facility Space Needs Study 25,000

Other budget revisions included: 1) The reduction of
revenues projected for the General Fund, per the recently
completed revenue analysis. 2) Removal of Garbage /Refuse and
Recycling from the General Fund and placement within the Water
Enterprise Fund; 3) Inclusion of carry over encumbrances and
reserves for encumbrances existing at September 30, 1990 within
the FY 91 budgets; and, 4) Establishment of the Law Enforcement
Trust Fund, required to account for criminal case forfeitures
received by the Village Police Department.
