HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_12-86/87_07/28/1987 RESOLUTION NO. 12 -86/87 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING APPRECIATION AND THANKS TO JAMES W. WORTH FOR SERVICE TO THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA. WHEREAS, James W. Worth during the nineteen years he has served the Village of Tequesta as Water Superintendent, has significantly contributed to and assisted Village government in various ways and means for the good of the Village; and WHEREAS, the performance of his duties and responsibi- lities, and his working relationships were always characterized by an obvious dedication to getting the job well done; and WHEREAS, it has been communicated by James W. Worth that he intends to retire effective July 31, 1987 and has thereby tendered his resignation to the Village administration; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . The Village of Tequesta expresses its sincere appreciation and thanks to our Friend, James W. Worth, for his signal contributions to the community and highly commends him for the faithful manner in which he has carried out his responsibilities and duties as the first Water Superintendent of the Tequesta Water Department and wish him the best in his well deserved retirement. Section 2 . The Village Clerk is directed to forward a copy of this Resolution to James W. Worth. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember Edward C. Howell who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilmember Earl L. Collings , and upon being put a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION Earl L. Collings Edward C. Howell Ron Mackail Carlton D.
