HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_24-81/82_09/30/1982 RESOLUTION N0. 24 -81/82 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA PROVIDING FOR LEVYING A MILLAGE RATE OF $2.6762 DOLLARS PER $1,000.00 OF TAXABLE VALUATION FOR THE YEAR 1982 WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Village of Tequesta to adopt a General Fund budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 1982; and WHEREAS, the General Fund budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 1982 requires a millage rate of $2.6762 dollars per $1,000.00 of taxable value; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . That the millage rate of $2.6762 dollars per $1,000.00 of taxable valuation for the year 1982 be and is hereby adopted. Section 2 . That certified copies of this Resolution be forwarded to Palm Beach County Property Appraiser, Palm Beach County Tax Collector and State Department of Revenue. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember Thomas J. Little , who moved its adoption. The Resolution was seconded by Councilmember Lee M. Brown and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION Thomas J. Beddow Lee M. Brown Thomas J. Little W.H. Mapes, Jr. Carlton D.
