A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING FROM THE
COUNTY OF PALM BEACH THE ROADS HEREIN
DESCRIBED PURSUANT TO THE TERMS OF
RESOLUTION NO. R -81 -190 OF THE PALM
BEACH COUNTY COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. R -81 -190 dated February 24,
1981, Palm Beach County has elected to transfer certain roads
described in said Resolution to the control and jurisdiction of
the Village of Tequesta, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida, has determined that it is in the interest of the Village
to accept said roads pursuant to said Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the roads described herein below are hereby accepted
by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta pursuant to the
terms of Resolution R -81 -190 dated February 24, 1981, of the Palm
Beach County Commission, and said roads are listed as follows:
(1) Point Drive (Tequesta Drive - Rio -Vista Drive);
(2) Riverside Drive (all located within the
corporate limits of the Village of Tequesta);
(3) Seabrook Road (all located within the
corporate limits of the Village of Tequesta); and
(4) Tequesta Drive (Riverside Drive West - Point
Drive) .
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember
Thomas J. L who moved its adoption. The
Resolution was seconded by Councilmember Carlton D. Stoddard ,
and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION
Leslie A. Cook
Thomas J. Little
W.H. Mapes, Jr.
Carlton D. Stoddard
The mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed
and adopted this 8 day of December 1981.
