A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA REQUESTING A
PERPETUAL UTILITY EASEMENT FROM THE STATE
OF FLORIDA, SAID EASEMENT TO BE UTILIZED
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A 12 INCH SUBAQUEOUS
WATER MAIN CROSSING THE ATLANTIC INTRACOASTAL
WATERWAY IN PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, it has been necessary for the Village of Tequesta to
make various improvements to its water supply, storage and distribution
system; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta Water Department Consulting
Engineers have recommended that the construction of a 12 inch subaqueous
water main crossing the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway is necessary to
provide an adequate supply of water at satisfactory pressures in parts
of the service area east of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta Water Department Consulting
Engineers are preparing the plans and specifications for such subaqueous
water main crossing; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Village of Tequesta to obtain
a perpetual easement for the 12 inch subaqueous water main from the State
of Florida;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Florida hereby requests a perpetual utility easement from the State of
Florida.
Section 2 . That the perpetual utility easement is to be
utilized for the installation of a 12 inch subaqueous water main crossing
the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway located in Section 30, Township 40 South,
Range 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember
Stoddard , who moved its adoption. The Resolution
was seconded by Councilmember Cook and upon
being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and
adopted this 22 day of July , A.D. , 1980.
