A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA
APPROVING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROJECTS FOR
THE RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1978 /1979; MAKING MATCHING FUNDS AVAILABLE
AND AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE MANAGER TO MAKE
APPLICATION TO PALM BEACH COUNTY FOR $7500. IN
MATCHING FUNDS
WHEREAS, on November 8, 1977, the Board of County Commissioners
of Palm Beach County approved a staff recommendation in concept, subject
to available funding, regarding municipalities submitting top priority
recreation projects for County financial assistance during fiscal year
1978/1979; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta
recognizes a need for assistance with financing top priority recreation
projects for fiscal year 1978/1979; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Tequesta Recreation Director has
submitted a list of proposed top priority capital improvements for the
Village of Tequesta Recreation and Parks Department for fiscal year
1978/1979 in a total amount of $15,000.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA:
Section 1 . That the Village Council approves the list of
top priority capital improvements for the Village of Tequesta Recreation
and Parks Department for fiscal year 1978/1979 in a total amount of
$15,000. (copy attached)
Section 2. That the Village Manager be, and is hereby
authorized to submit a project application to Palm Beach County request-
ing funds in the total amount of $7,500.
Section 3 . That the Village Council hereby authorizes the
expenditure of $7,500. for the fiscal year 1978/1979 as the Village of
Tequesta's fifty - percent (50 %) matching funds for the capital improve-
ments projects.

Section 4 . That a certified copy of this Resolution be
submitted to the appropriate Palm Beach County authorities with the
project application.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember
Leslie Cook , who moved its adoption. The Resolution was
seconded by Councilmember James Ryan and upon being put
to a vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and
adopted this 18 day of April A.D., 1978.
