HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_04-77/78_02/14/1978 RESOLUTION NO. 4 -77/78 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA REQUESTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS TO INCLUDE THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA IN ITS APPLICATION TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT FOR LOCAL PLANNING ASSISTANCE FUNDS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JULY 1, 1978 WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta has recognized certain problems in the Village of Tequesta which relate to planning and management; and WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Planning Assistance Program administered by the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs offers the opportunity to strengthen the community development process through the conduct of a planning program; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA: Section 1 . That the State of Florida Department of Community Affairs include the Village of Tequesta in its application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for local planning assistance funds for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1978. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Councilmember W. Harvey Mapes , who moved its adoption. The Resolution was seconded by Councilmember James Ryan and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION Howard F. Brown W. Harvey Mapes James Ryan Joseph D.
