RESOLUTION APPROVING INTER -LOCAL JOINT- PROJECT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN PALM BEACH COUNTY AND THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, a
political subdivison of the State of Florida, and the Village Council of the
Village of Tequesta, a municipal corporation of the State of Florida, herein-
after referred to as "Village ", find it mutually agreeable and in the best
public interest to provide certain right of way improvements to Old Dixie
Highway and Tequesta Drive and,
WHEREAS, the Village has caused construction plans to be prepared and
has received a favorable bid, and entered into contract with Gorham Construction
Company, in the total amount of $158.260.30. Of this amount Palm Beach County's
proportionate share would be $68,557.50; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of Palm Beach County to assist with the
Tequesta Drive Improvements program in accordance with the terms set forth in
the attached Inter -Local Joint - Project Agreement; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of theVillage of Tequesta, Florida, to
join with Palm Beach County in the attached Inter -Local Joint- Project Agreement.

R� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
1. The attached Inter -Local Joint - Project Agreement between the
County of Palm Beach and the Village of Tequesta is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized to execute
and attest to the attached Inter -Local Joint - Project Agreement, respectively.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Council Member Stephen Huggi
w ho moved its adoption. The Resolution was seconded by Council Member
Howard F . Brown and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as
follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted
