RESOLUTION NO. 12/74 -75

A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF AN EASEMENT
DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA AS GRANTOR TO THE FLORIDA POWER
AND LIGHT COMPANY, AS GRANTEE, AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SAME BY THE
MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
The Village Council hereby authorizes the granting of
an easement from the Village of Tequesta, Florida, as grantor to
the Florida Power and Light Company, as grantee, said easement
being located in Section 19, Township 40 South, Range 43 East,
• Martin County, Florida, and further described in the attached
Grant of Easement which has been initialled for identification
purposes by the Mayor and the Village Manager.
The Village Council further authorizes the execution
of said Grant of Easement by the Mayor and by the Village
Manager.
PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THIS 24 DAY OF June
A.D., 1975.

THIS INDgfiNmn, made this 2.41. day of June, 1975,
between the V211age of Tequesta, a Municipal Corporation existing
under the laws of the State of Florida, their Successors and
Assigns, herein called Grantor and Florida Power and Light
Cow0any, a corporation authorized to do business in the State
of Florida herein called Grantee.
WITNESSETH:
That the Grantor for and in consideration of the sum
of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) to it in hand paid by the said Grantee,
• together with all other Covenants made by Grantee and contained
hereintas granted, bargained and sold to the Grantee, the
following described Easement situate, lying and being in the
County of Martin and State of Florida, to wits
The west ten feet of the following- described
tract:
Beginning at a point an Range Line 43 East,
marking the west boundary line of Section 19,
Township 40 South, Range 43 East, Martin
County, Florida, where said line intersects
an imaginary line 50 feet north of and parallel
to the center line of the County Road marking
the boundary line of Martin and Palm Beach
Counties, this as a point of beginning. Thence,
east along a line paralleling the County Road
• center line as aforesaid a distance of 848.25
feet; thence north along a line parallel to the
aforesaid range line a distance of 1320 feet;
thence, west along a line parallel to the afore-
described west to east line a distance of 848.25
feet to the aforesaid range line. All of the
afore- described parcel being located in Section
19, thence continuing west a distance of 826 feet
more or less to the easterly right -of -way line of
Old Dixie Highway lying east of and running parallel
to the Florida East Coast Railway; thence, south-
easterly along the easterly right -d -way line of

Old Dixie Highway to a point where said right-
of-way line intersects a westerly extension of
the first described imaginary line parallel
to the County Road; thence, east along said
extended line a distance of 131.75 feet more
or less to the point of beginning. All of
the last described parcel being located in
Section 24 Township 40 South, Range 42 East,
Martin County, Florida
For the purposes of constructing, using and maintaining
underground electrical systems and apparatus and it shall be lawful
for the Grantee to maintain and repair said way as there shall be
occasion.
In the event the Grantee should abandon said property,
fail to use the same for the purposes outlined herein or maintain
same as set forth hereinabove, the said property shall revert to
the Grantors, their heirs and assigns.

Old Dixie Highway to a point where said right -
of -way line intersects a westerly extension of
the first described imaginary line parallel
to the County Road; thence, east along said
extended line a distance of 191.75 feet more
or less to the point of beginning. All of
the last described parcel being located in
Section 24, Township 40 South, Range 42 East,
Martin County, Florida.
For the purposes of constructing, using and maintaining
