HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_08-74/75_03/11/1975 RESOLUTION N0. $ - 7475 • A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION FOR THE PALM BEACH - MARTIN COUNTY MEDICAL CENTER WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta is greatly concerned about the availability of quality health services for its residents: and WHEREAS, an interim emergency care center in the geographic vicinity of the Village of Tequesta would greatly enhance the emergency services provided by the North County First Aid Squad, Inc., a volunteer ambulance service: and WHEREAS, the continuing population growth of the Northern • Palm Beach County - Southern Martin County area has made it necessary for additional medical facilities to be provided for the residents of the area, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TERUESTA: Section 1 . That the officers and trustees of the Palm Beach - Martin County Medical Center, Inc. be commended for their foresight in establishing an Out- Patient clinic on the former Sa.lhaven property on Alternate A -1 -A, Jupiter, Florida and proceed- ing with plans for the construction of a new Out- Patient Clinic and Convalescent Pavilion to serve the medical needs of the residents of the area. Section 2. That the entire staff of the present Out - Patient Clinic be commended for their continuing medical service to the residents of the area. Section 3 . That all residents of the Village of Tequesta are urged to give their support to the public subscription drive for $1,800,000 presently being conducted by the Palm Beach - Martin County Medical Center, Inc. Section 4 . That a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to George L. Ford Jr., M.D., President, Board of Trustees, Palm Beach - Martin County Medical Center, Inc.
