HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution_06-66_02/21/1967 RESOLUTION NO. 6-66 WHEREAS, Palm Beach County, Florida, has adopted a permanent single registration system for the registration of electors under and pursuant to the provisions of Section 98.041, Statutes of Florida, 1965; and WHEREAS, Section 98.091, Statutes of Florida, 1965, permits a municipality to use such system with the concurrence of the Board of County Commissioners and Supervisor of Elections; and WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, deems it to the best interests of said Village to use said system; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida, in regular meeting assembled, that the Village avail itself of the use of the permanent single registration system adopted by Palm Beach County, Florida; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Clerk of the Village be, and they are hereby authorized, to do all things necessary to acquire this usage and to acquire the con- currence of the Board of County Commissioners of Palm Beach County, Florida, and the Supervisor of Elections of Palm Beach County, Florida, under such reasonable terms and conditions as may be imposed.
