"14HEF.EAS, V. M. JOPITSON and LOIS R. JOHNSON, his wife, and LILLIAN M. HEATH,
the owners of certain property within the corporate limits of The Village of Tequesta,
have requested that the Plat of Jupiter Manors, Section One, as recorded in Plat
Book 12, page 38, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida, be vacated as to a
portion of said property; and
"WHEREAS, the Village Councilmen of The Village of Tequesta, Florida, have been
advised that the vacation will not adversely affect the rights of the public or of
the Village,
"NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED: That the Plat of Jupiter Manors, Section One,
as recorded in Plat Book 12, page 38, public records of Palm Beach County, Florida, be
and the same is hereby vacated in so far as it pertains to the following described
property, to -wit:
A parcel of land in Sections 25 and 36, Township 40 South, Range 42 East,
Palm Beach County, Florida, more particularly described as follows:
BEGINN RIG at the southwest corner of said Section 25, said corner being also
the northwest corner of said Section 36; thence northerly along the West line of
said Section 25, being also the center line of the right -of -way of Venado Street,
as shown on Plat of Jupiter Manors, Section One, recorded in Plat Book 12,
Page 38, Public Records of Palm Beach County, Florida., a distance of 688 feet,
more or less to a point in a line parallel to, and 60 feet South of the center
line 0 ° ?; 1. Portal., as shown on said plat; thence easterly along said parallel
line, a distance of 1,142.7 feet, more or less, to a point in a line parallel
to and 30 feet westerly from, measured at right angles to the center line of
• the right-of-way of Sevilla Road, as shown on said plat; thence southerly along
said parallel Line, and making; an angle with the preceding course, measured
from wrest to South, of 80 -31t, a distance of 649.47 feet, more or less, to
a point in the South line of said Section 25; thence westerly along the South
line of sa {.d Section 25, a distance of 90.69 feet; thence southerly, making an
angle with the South line of said Section 25, measured from :=test to southwest
of 32 -36+, a distance of 687.17 feet, more or less, to a 3/4" iron pipe driven
in the ground; thence continue along the same course, southwesterly, a
distance of 52 feet, more or less, to the maters of Jupiter 'River (Northwest
Fork); thence westerly along the waters of said Jupiter River, to a point in
the 'Hest line of said Section 36; thence northerly along the West line of said
Section 36, a, distance of 150 feet, more or less, to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
and The Village of Tequesta, Florida, does hereby release and discharge any and all
claims to streets, highways and rights-of-way of the public therein."

Dear Bud:
In connection with the Johnson and Heath land, a
description that has been approved by the County has been
enclosed herewith, together with certificate showing the proper
resolution to be included in the minutes of the last meeting of
• the Council.
I believe the same is as we discussed previously, and
it would be appreciated if you would have Bob Harp execute two
of the enclosed certificates, affix the corporate seal, and
return to me for delivery to Mr. Earnest, the attorney for the
petitioners.
I have also enclosed herewith a plat showing that
portion to be vacated. You will note that on the north side,
it takes 15 feet; on the east side 20 feet; and on the west side
up to the section line or the east line of the southerly extrem-
ity of what is known now as Tequesta Drive (south of the gates
to Tequesta).
