A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
• VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA,
SETTING THE PROPOSED AD VALOREM MILLAGE RATE
FOR THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA FOR FISCAL YEAR 2006-
2007 AT A RATE OF 6.4980 MILS PER $1,000.00 OF ASSESSED
VALUE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The proposed millage rate of 6.4980 mils per $1,000.00 of assessed value,
necessary to fund the tentative budgets for the Fiscal Year of 2006/2007 is hereby set.
SECTION 2: The proposed millage rate of 6.4980 mils per $1,000 of assessed value for
the Fiscal Year of 2006-2007 is 18.186% greater than the rolled-back millage rate of
5.4981 mils per $1,000.00 of assessed value.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Council Member
who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Council Member ,
and being put to vote, the vote was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 13�' day of

Per our discussions, attached is a revised draft of the ordinance. A new section 2(5) has been inserted to
mandate that golf carts be insured relative to damage and personal injury associated with use on public streets
and roads.
