The Village budgeted �75,000.00 in the FY 2005/2Q06 budget account #303-390-663.650 for
Pathway Improvements. The area identified for this project was Tequesta Drive. Specifically, the
extension of the existing pathway an the north side of Tequesta Ddve slighfly west of Seabrook
Road. 'I"he e�tension would go west, connecting the existing fragments along the way, and continue
as fax as Arnnour Manar located at Tequesta Drive and Pinetree Drive. The pathway will be 4 feet
wide cQncrete to conform with the existing pieces.
The work proposal is from Wpnn & Sons Environmental Construction, Inc. and pricing is based
on Martin Caunty annual govemment contract #AR 05-343 and is not to exceed the budgeted
arnaunt of $75,000.
Note that if this work is completed, the pathway will not connect to the comer of Country Club
Drive, and there will rexnain a section without a�athway in front of Bermuda Terrace.
RESOLUTION NO. 93 -OS/06
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH
COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PROPOSAL
FROM WYNN AND SONS ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSTRUCTION, INC. OF WEST PALM BEACH
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A NEW PATHWAY
ALONG TEQUESTA DRIVE IN THE AMOUNT OF
$74,999.80 (ACCOUNT #303-390-663.650)
WHEREAS, The Village budgeted $75,000.00 for the installation of a
sidewalk along the north side of Tequesta Drive, continuing west from the existing
sidewalk and;
WHEREAS, Wynn and Sons Environmental Construction, Inc. submitted a
proposal to complete the installation in the amount of $74,999.80 and;
WHEREAS, Wynn and Sons Environmental Construction Inc.'s proposal is
piggybacked on Town of Jupiter Contract EPW-2005-25;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta,
Palm Beach County, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1: Consideration to award installation of Tequesta Drive pathway to Wynn and Sons
Environmental Construction, Inc. in the amount of $74,999.80 (account #303-390-663.650) is
hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the
same on behalf of the Village.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION was offered by Council Member
, who moved its adoption. The Resolution was seconded by Council Member , and
upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows:
