A Meeting of the Village of Tequesta Co=. , unity Appearance
Board was held at 4:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 26, 1975 in
the Village Hall, 357 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida.-
Board members present were Roger W. Fulling, Mrs. Philip J.
Corr, Ruth E. Butterfield. and alternate member, Helen D.
Nickau. Theodore Davis, a member of the Board, excused -
himself because h6=;was the Architect submitting the plans for
the Also present were Cyrese Colbert, Village
Clerk and A.W. Butterfield, Village Building Official.
Roger W. Fulling, Chairman, conducted the meeting. He
announced that the meeting had been duly advertised in the
newspaper and on the bulletin boards.
Pair. Th.eodore:Davis submitted the plans of the proposed
Burger Chef to be constructed on U.S. Highway f1 in Tequesta.
Mr. Davis informed the Board that this building is a prototype
that can be used at other locations in Florida. It will have
an evening -style menu, more dining area, seating approximately
one- -hundred and fifty (150) people with tile floors, paneling
an the walls, raised ceiling, planters and very bold, warm
colors. Most of the parking will be in the rear of the building.
There are no flood lights to be used, interior lighting is to
be soft.
The Board suggested that some changes be made to the - proposed
plan such as, a green hedge across the back, change the yellow
ixora to red ixora and an agreement in the contract Burger
Chef will maintain the plants and hedges.
Corr moved, "that we accept these plans 1--18, 1 -R, and 1 -L
with the consideration of landscaping to be at the entrance to
Bridge Road and the property line West of the building and that
we approve as so- stated with these provisions. The motion was.
adopted.
Several members of the Board volunteered to write suggestions
to Council in reference to powers of the Community Appearance
Board.
The meeting was adjourned at :06 P.M.
