These funds were placed into the Reserve Contingency account # 401-990-599902. This is a request for authorization to allow Bw•I<e Roofing Services, Inc. to proceed with the repairs at a cost of $26,250.00. The proposal by Burke Roofing is consistent with the preliminary approval received from the Village's FEMA representative. This action will require a budget transfer of $26,250 fi•om the Reserve Contingency account to the Building Repair and Maintenance account in the Water Pumping & Storage Department. RESOLUTION NO. 42-05/06 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF TFIE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROVING A PROPOSAL FROM BURKE ROOFING SERVICES OF WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA, FOR ROOF REPAIRS TO THE WATER TREATMENT PLANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $26,250 WHEREAS, the Water Treatment Plant sustained roof damage during Hurricane Wilma; WHEREAS, the Village has appropriated the funding in the Reserve Contingency Account; WHEREAS, the Village has projected anticipated revenue for the repairs from FEMA assistance; WHEREAS, the Village has negotiated a proposal from Burke Roofing Services in the amount of $26,250, attached hereto as "Exhibit A" and; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Palm Beach County, Florida, as follows: Section 1. Consideration to award Water Treatment Plant roof repairs to Burke Roofing Services in the amount of $26,250 is hereby approved and the Village Manager of the Village of Tequesta is authorized to execute the same on behalf of the V illage.
