Imaging document via Quick Fields
Click on Quick Fields personal shortcut Icon (set up by IT)
Select name of template, once new window pops up,
Select name of template (again) under Session Configuration (usually on left)
(The name of template chosen will appear, in large print, in center "Input Window ")
* *DO NOT CHANGE information in box at top "Default document name" (On the right)
The FIELDS tab (@ the top of screen) is to enter the documents information
✓ You must fill in all fields designated with a red circle and exclamation point.
The PROPERTIES tab is to select the documents path, Click on Browse...: (under folder path) until
folder is located for path desired, hit OK Ij

In the tool bar (at the top of screen)- select correct paper size, source and color preferences before
scanning
✓ You must hit OK after changing preference.
Place documents into the scanner (face up)
-Select Scan Icon
Scan
To add pages to the same document:
Click on the Resume button in the tool bar Resume
If document is in color: Wait until image has stored completely and name of template re appears in
center of monitor before imaging next document(s).
Rescan You may rescan over one document at a time by clicking the Rescan button (If multiple
pages need to be reimaged it may be easier to delete the mistakes and use the "Resume" to
continue).
Once you have imaged the entire document click on the Store st ore button.
You can continue to image using the same template (ie. Minutes, Agenda) remembering to change the
template information when necessary (before storing each document).
Close out window when finished.
** It is helpful to monitor documents as they are being imaged and saved by utilizing Laserfiche in a
second monitor.
