COUNCIIMEN OF THE VIIJ GE OF TEQUESTA
A pyblic hearing was held by the councilmen of the Village of Tequesta
Tuesday, une 16, 1964 at 8:00 P.M. at the First United Prebbyterian Church, Tequesta
for the purpose of adopting a zoning classification for a parcel of land recently
annexed to the Village of Tequesta. Councilmen present were: Messrs: Valier,Turn-
bull and Cornelius. Also present was Robert 11arp, Village Clerk.
Council.was advised the hearing had been duly advertised and property owners
notified. The parcel.od land is described as follows : "That.part of the Best 250
feet of the South 200 feet of Section 25, ftwnship 40 South:, Range 42 East, Palm
Beach County, Florida, lying west of the County Road(Seabrook Road.)."
A plat ofthe general area was shoAm which shows all surronding properties
to be single family dwelling districts.
There were no property owners present at the meeting an no letters for or
againsp any specific zoning had been recrived.
Turnbull moved, seconded by Cornelius and passed that - "That part of the East
250 feet of the South 200 feet of Section 25, Township 40 South, Range 42 East,
Palm Beach County, Florida, lying west of the County Road(Seabrook Road) be
zoned R-1 Single Family Welling Classification according to Ordinance No. 43,
Official Zoning Ordinanc eof the Village of Tequesta and Attorney Lord is to pre -
proper Ordinance to complete tJils zoning and change in official zoning map.
Meeting adjourned at 8: 25 P.M.
