VILLAGE OF TFQU ,STA, FLORIDA
At 9:30 AM, Tuesday, October 14, 1958, the eleventh meeting of the Counci.l-
meLl of the Village of Teque; ta, FFI o ica was held at the Tequesta, Inc. office at
Village Square, Jupiter, Florida. Those present were: John P. K C. W. Fietz,
William Lord, and W.F. Lathrop.
There was a detailed discussion or the possible extension of the Village of
Teauesta and Mayor Kurtz read a letter from Mr. Schlusemeyer. It was decided that
the next meeting be held on November 18 as Mr. Daly would be back in town by that
time and Mr. Lord was requested to get all possible information on what landowners
have expressed interest In joining tl Village so this matter can be further dis-
cussed at the next mei�tix :g.
Mr. Shinnick's reauest as to the possibility of joining the Village and
procuring a licuor license was discussed, and there appears to be little encourage
ment to be given at; this point.
The possibility of buying a lawn mower for the Villa.gP was discussed and tabled
until a future date.
Mr. Lord explained the advisability of revoking the existing frsnchise to the
Jupiter 1 ater Company and entering into a license agreement with them. He is to
prepare the necessary paper before the next meeting.
There being no fuel er busineso, the meeti_r:g was ad ourned at 11;00 Ate.
