VILLAGE OF TE:.)UESTA, FLORIDA
At 9:30 AM, Tuesday, April 1t,., 1959, the regular meeting of the Councilmen
of the Village of Tequesta was held at the office at Village Souare, Jupiter,
Florida. Those present were: J.P. Kurtz, Mr. Reddy, Thomas H. Daly, William Lord,
and W. F. Lathrop.
Ordinance #20 was read and approved by the Col.incilmen.
A motion was made and voted to pay the Jupiter Volunteer Fire Department
8 each r.uarter.
On motion duly made and passed, it was voted to pay Mr. Robert McAninch
$150.00 for his services as building inspector.
A motion was made and passed to increase Chief Dahlmeyerts salary $10.00
per week, and this increase is to be paid by increasing our monthly contract for
the Police Car and Dahlme„ver's services to 9511 odd per month.
A motion was made to increase Rose M. Pelots salary $5.00 per weak and to
instruct Tequesta, Inc. to bill the Village $20.00 per week for the services she
is rendering the Village.
A motion daly made and se.conded,the Village agreed to rent office space from
Tequesta, Inc. at 1 0, 37.50 per month.
The Clerk was given authority to purchase a rack for plans and shelving for
stationery, etc.
The resignation of C. 'I. Pietz,as Vice - -Mayor and Councilman, was accepted
to become effective April 30, 1959.
There was a general discussion on the replacement for Mr. Pietz, and the
matter was taken under consideration for action at a future meeting.
Mayor Kurtz asked the Councilmen to give consideration for playground
facilities for the town.
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 AM.
