VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA
At 9:35 A. M. , Tuesday, Decem1wer 8, 1959, the regular
monthly meeting of the Councilmen of the Village of Tequesta was
held at the Village Office at Village Sgtare Shopping Center,
Tequesta .9 Florida. Those present were; Waiter F. Lathrop, John
P. Kurtz, Zeke Cornelius, Thomas H. Dal y, Albert Alderman, Robert
Harp sn d Attorney William A. Lord*
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Financila statement for period ending November 30, 1959
was approved*
The Clerk reported that Messrs. Lou Schlusemeyer, Freeman
Dyke and . Hank Keene had accepted appointed to Resources Develop-
ment Board of Palm Beach County.
Mr. Lathrop suggested that the Village look into the matter
of street lighting for the Village. By unanimous approval of
Council, Albert Alderman was approved to investigate street
lighting and to get prices and all other pertinent data for this
project and to report to Council at its next regular meeting.
A discussion was held on the sign ordinance for the
Village and Clerk and Attorney Lord said that they would present
something for consideration of the Council at the next meeting.
Ordinance #25 for stsst abandonment of certain streets
in Village of Tequesta was unanimously adopted at first reading.
Attorney Lord advised that he would prepare an ordinance
for control aid regulation of sound trucks in Village of Tequesta.
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned
at 10,10 A. M.
