AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA,
FLOI�IDA, DECLARING ITS-�INTENTION UNDER
THE PROVI�IONS OF F�(3RIDA. LAWS,, 196�,
CHAPTER 61-2944 T0 ANNEX THE.FOLLOWZNG
DESCRIBED UNINCORP()RATED AND COI�TIGUOUS
�RACT OF -I�AND, SITUATE, -LYING AND B�ING
IN THE GO�JNT� OF � PALM BEACH, STA'�E 0�'
�LORIDA, TO-WIT; _ _ _
A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40 South,
i�ange 43 East, Palm Beach County, Florida, more
garticularly described as follows:
From the point of intersection of the south line of
said Section 30 with the westerly right-of-way line
of State Road No. 5(U. S. Highway No. 1) as said
right-of-way line is-shown on the plat of right-of-
way of State Road No. 5 recorded in Road P1at Book
2, pages 105 to 118, inclusive, public records of
Pa1m Beach County, Florida, run westerly along the
south line of said Section 30, a distance of 472.93
feet; thence northerly at right angles to the south
line of said Section 30, a distance of 120 feet to
the point of beginning and the southeast corner of
the parcel of land herein described; thence continue
along the same course northerly, a distance of 1$0
feet; thence westerly, parallel to the south line of
said Section 30, a distance of 5.00 feet; thence
northerly, at right angles to the preceding course,
a distance of 5.39 feet; thence westerly, para11e1
to the south line of said Section 30, a distance o�
301.32 feet, more ar less, to a point in the easterly
right-of-way line of the Old Dixie Highway; thence
southerly along said easterly�ight-of-way 1ine, a
distance of 220 feet to a point in a line parallel �
to, and 120 feet north of the south line of said
5ection 30; thence easterly along said para11e1 line,
a distance of 226.29 feet, more or less, to the ,
point of beginning; heretofore deeded under date of
September 15, 1958, executed by Loxahatchee Carporation,
a Florida corporation, to Rinker Ma.terials Corporation,
said deed being recorded in Official Record Book 240,
page 63, public records of Palm Beach County-, Florida;
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That pursuant to the provisions of Florida Laws,
1961, Chapter 61-2944, it is hereby declared to be�the intention of
the Village of Tequesta, Flnrida, to annex the following described
unincorporated and contiguous tract of land, situate, lying and being
in the County of Palm Beach, State of Florida, to-wit:
A parcel of land in Section 30, Township 40
South, Range 43 East, Pa1m Beach County,
Florida, more particularly described as follows:
From the point of intersection of the south

point in the easterly right-of-way line of the
Old Dixie Highway; thence southerly along said
easterly right-of-way line, a distance of 220
feet to a point in a line para11e1 to, and 120
feet north of the south line of said Section 30;
thence easterly along said parallel7ine, a
distance of 226.29 feet, more or less, to the
point of beginning; heretofore deeded under date
of September 15, 1958, executed by Loxahatchee
Corporation, a Florida corporation, to Rinker
Materials Corporation, said deed being recorded
in Official Record Book 240, page 63, public
records of Pa1m Beach County, Florida;
to the Village of Tequesta at the expiration of thirty (30) days
from the approval and final passage of this Ordinance.
Section 2. That upon final passage this Ordinance
sha11 thereupon be published once a week for four (4) consecutive
weeks in some newspaper published in Pa1m Beach County, Florida,
and three (3) printed copies of said Ordinance sha11 be posted for
four (4) consecutive weeks at some conspicuous place in said
Village, and three (3) �opies sha11 in like ma.nner be posted in
the district to be annexed.
