Tequesta, FL 33469 Dear Greg, I have enjoyed the tennis facilities at Tequesta Park for over 25 yeaxs, and have admired the effort put forth by the Tequesta Recreation Department to maintain the tennis courts in such ne playing conditian. Many senior players in my peer group have also expressed similar sentiments. There is ane area where a general consensus has arisen, and that is to provide wind screens on the north and south chain link fences (at the backs of the players. The glare coming off the fences mixed with the green folia.ge background is a daunting handicap to see a ball ctearly , and the group here is certain that installing wind screens would eliminate this frustrating condition. Please give this small proposal for a big improvement favorable consideration at the earliest opportunity. It will be greatly appreciated by aIl groups using the tennis facilities at Tequesta Park Sincerely yours, Edward C. Hill November 7, 2002 Mr. Greg T. Corbitt Village of Tequesta Parks and Recreatian Department 399 Seabrook Road Tequesta, Florida 33469 Dear reg: I would like to thank you for your initiative in upgradang the conditions at the tennis facilities in Tequesta Park. We, the moming tennis players, have been playing at Tequesta Park for over 10 years. There is no doubt that the vvhole facility is in the best shape ever. Daily use of the blower has eliminated the fear of sliding on wet pine needles and sand. As we age we appreciate all the assistance we can get so that we ca.n play safely. We would like to request another quality improvement for the tennis facility. Wou1d it be possible to install windscreens on the 2 NorthlSouth end fences and the middle fence that separates the courts? This would greatly improve the ba11 visibility on all the courts. The windscreens would also cut down the debris and provide a little more shade. They are not needed on the side fencing. Afer discussing this with our group of about 30 players, we are a11 in agreement that this would be a tremendous improvement. We look forward ta seeing you again at the courts and we appreciate your attention to this matter. Sincerely, C Z s. Joan C.
