The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta will conduct a Pubiic Hearing on Thursday,
January 12, 2012, at 6:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as possibie, continuing from time to time
and place to place as the said meeting(sj may be adjourned, in the Viilage Counci{ Chambers
located at 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida; the Tequesta Village Council will consider and
make final decision on the following request:

Consideration of request for variance from the requirement of Sec. 78-298 to allow Conch and

currently allows for such sale only at a 1,000 foot radius or greater from any church, school or

Appiication of Conch and Crab Restaurant, 157 N US Highway 1, Tequesta Shoppes, Tequesta,
FL 33469, to add an entry way trellis, and re-configure the existing bar and add landscaping
improvements in the existing outside seating area.

To whom it may concern,
I am requesting a variance with regards to the above mentioned Code based
on the following:
1] In order to have a competitive and viable business I would have to serve .
beer, wine and liquor.
2] The above mentioned restaurant has historically served intoxicating
beverages. The surrounding restaurants in the shopping center serve
intoxicating beverages having been granted the requested variance.
3] The requested variance will be in harmony with the general intent and
purpose of the ordinance.
