STAFF REVIEW a This development application was reviewed by the Development Review Committee (DRC) including Community Development, Law Enforcement, Public Works and Fire Safety on November 14, 2011 and was unanimously approved by the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board on December 1, 2011. 1 Department of Community Development - Staff Report— Conch and Crab Restaurant Village Council SPM 07-11. ■ This is a minor site plan modification including an entry way trellis, re-configuration of the existing bar and landscaping improvements in the existing outside seating area. ■ Since the applicant is not increasing the square footage of the existing restaurant, there is not an impact on lot coverage, open space and parking. ■ In terms of outside seating, the applicant is proposing 30 seats in compliance with Village's Code (20% of total interior seating). The applicant indicated that total interior seating is 150 seats. � Per 2008 landscape plan, Tequesta Shoppes shopping plaza has 76% of native landscape. This current application is proposing a total of 33 drought tolerant plants from which 2 are natives. 4.
