Memorandum
To: Mayor and Council
From: Council Member Edward Resnik
Date: 9/14/2005
Re: Public Hearing for Final Millage FY 2005/2006 and Final Budgets FY 2005/2006
The purpose of this memorandum is to ensure that in my absence, the following
opinions, regarding the second consideration of the millage rate for fiscal year
2005/2006 and the second review and approval of the budget FY 2005/2006 are
read into the record of the Village Council meeting on September 15, 2005.
1. Mill Rate: My second consideration remains the same as the first in that
the millage rate should continue at 6.4980 for FY 2005/2006.
2. The Budqet: The budget for FY 2005/2006 is the product of many long hours
of hard work by the Village Manager, staff and Viflage Council in providing a
balanced plan for the efficient and effective financial roadmap for the Village of
Tequesta during the next fiscal year. I continue to believe that we should
approve it with our complete support and have faith in the positive impact it
will have on our Village and its residents
God bless you all,
Ed Resnik
