'The existing lease for the Village ad�tniiustrative offices expired June 30, 2005. The Tequesta.
Corporate Center has offered a renewed lease through June 30, 2006 at a gross monthiy rate of
$$,01Q.00. This rate calculates to approxiinately �19.50 per square foo� and reflects a 5% increase in
oux previous ra,te.
The length of the renewed contract will accommodate the Village's needs, as the contract to
build Village Hall specifies three hundred (300) daps to compleiion from the Notice to Proceed. We
subsequendy anticipate vacating our e�usbing space in July 2006. Additionally, the existing vacant
space in the Corporate Center is marketed at $22.00 per square £oot
Considexing the above information, staff recommends renewing the lease far the terms specified.

Dear Mr. Garlo,
Thank you for taking the opportunity to meet on 8/1/OS concerning your renewal. As
indicated, it is your desire to continue to occupy this space for another year. We are
willing to renewal your current agreement for twelve months until6/30/06. This date
appears to accommodate your building schedule. The new monthly gross rental rate will
be $8,010.00 per month {tax exempt) effective 7/1/O5.
Please be advised this expiration date is critical to both parties as discussed. We will
be marketing this space based on this commitment. We look forward to our cantinued
relationship and appreciate your patronage and assistance with this matter.
