was determined that tt►e generator has st�ffici�nt c�pa�i�y to h�ndle the two (2} 20-hors�powar pumps that is
in the Iift statian. In fact, the 1i� sta#ian load �quates to appraximat�l� 3°fa of th� generators capacity.
We th�n had our electrical consultart (J.I�. T�am �ci�ineerina}, who also has their o�n constru�tian crews,
visit the s'rte al�n� �vith the I]isxrict pers�»nal ta deterrnine the t�perating criteria af this ti�-in and the rnast
economicai way ta pro�vide the �m�tgency serv'ir„� to the lift station. The 1ift statian will hav� a manual
tr�nsf�r �witeh tl�at will require concurrence from l�istr'sct si�i�`an� `V�illage WTP st2tff prior tc� the transfer of
power Co the �ener�tor.
The DistriCt's intent of thi� connection is for its use to o�cur during m�jc�r stc�rre� ��r�nts w'here l�+ng tetm
power outages �re encount�red, li'ke vt�hat occurred last summer, not for narmat �1��, c�utages. The normal
outages csn b� handled by a I�istriot portabie generator. It should be nc�t,zd, that l�st summer the pl�nt did
expet'i�nce s[�r»� backt�p of sew��e �vithin the plant pipe ��lleys, dU8 Cc7 the T3sStriCt shor�a�� af'�ortabl�

We are pleased ta submit Qur proposal to provid�: m�t�rial, labar, equipment and
sup�rvisian far th� falic�wing s�ope of work.
1. �urnish and install on� (1} �p0 amp, �00 vait, �� kai�, 3 pvfe breaker and buck�t
in the existing Cuttter Hammer switchgear laiaetect MCC 2�0.
� 2. Rout� 2" rigid galvanized s#eet �nduit ftom M�C 200 overhe�d �nd penetr�te
th� hA�C rc�om wall near the floar. Th� conduit will be caated with 2 p�rt epo�cy
pain# after installation.
3. Rout� 2" s�bedule 40 pvc conduit underground from outside the MCC r��m to
the existing sewer (ift station. A portion of #h� route will be a dire�Eic�nal bore
und$r the ��ph�lt driveway. This directinnal bore will be done by th� Village vf
Tequesta distribu��rn department a�s per John Collings 7-15-205.
4. Furnish and inst�ll �"f 00 amp, 60Q va!# wEMA 4X s#ainless steel double thrQw
switch with a st2�inless steef locking scissr�r h�sp for multiple focks. The switCh
will be mounted on a stainless steel uni�trut r�ck adde� tQ the existing equipm�nt
rack at #he lift st�tion.
5. Mak� all r��cess2�ty t�rminations and furnish s#�r#-up �ssistance.
