We wanted to share this special message which is information about the ministry. Hannah's Home of South Florida, Inc. was formed as a Florida not-for-profit organization serving expectant mothers and children in January 2003. Our mission is to provide support to young women who are single, pregnant and in need of our services. Since the beginning we have used single-family homes throughout Palm Beach County that act as hosts to women who axe expecting a baby and who without our assistance would be homeless. The single-family model means that one woman resides in each home along with house paxents. At Hannah's Home, a young woman is given the opportunity to have a change from her normal routine to reflect on her life and make decisions that will impact both her future and that of her child. By the time she leaves, we pray she will know that, in God's sight, she and her baby are truly significant...and that He wants a future filled with hope and promise for them. Her life may be filled with challenges, but she can draw strength from the encouragement offered during her time at Hannah's Home. Education is critical to the help reduce the impact of life challenges such as gainful employment. The goal of the academic and spiritual components is to ensure that each young woman receives an educational experience that provides the foundation for lifelong learning. Post secondary education in academic or vocational programs will be encouraged. Therefore, the educational program must satisfy the enrollment requirements of institutions of higher learning. Equally important is that each young woman would be able to transfer to a school of her choice upon successful completion of her residency with the competencies to master course work at the appropriate grade level if she is returning to a secondary education program. Christian counseling is provided by Spanish River Counseling Service. Each expectant mother is introduced to a person about her same age and who is spiritually
