SPECIAL MASTER CODE ENFORCEMENT HEARING
MINUTES
MARCH 24, 2005
PRESENT: Special Master Lara Donlon, Attorney at Law; Code Enforcement Officer Jason
Fleming, and Village Clerk, Gwen Cazlisle.
The hearing was called to order at 10:00 A.M.
Code Enforcement Special Master ponlon approved the minutes of the January 27, 2005 and
February 24, 2005 Special Master hearings as submited.
Fine Imposition Hearing:

The Respondents, Thomas and Mary Raiford were not present at the hearing; however, there was
a finding of proper notice. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer testified to the violation,
which continued to exist on March 8, 2005.
Conclusion of law was Respondents are in repeat violation of Section Chapter 78 Division 11
Section 78-644 (3) (4) Page CD 78:114, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Special Master ponlon ordered that Respondents Thomas and Mary Raiford shall immediately
comply with Chapter 78, Division 11 Section 78-644 (3) (4) Page CD 78:114, of the Code of
Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Special Master ponlon ordered that a fine of one-hundred-dollars ($100.00) be assessed for the
violation that has existed. The fine was imposed for the period from February 25, 2005 through
March 24, 2005.
If Respondents continue to fail to comply within the time specified, Respondents shall be
assessed a fine of one-hundred-dollars ($100.00) per day until the property is in full compliance
beginning March 25, 2005.

A certified copy of this Order may be recorded in the Public Records of Palm Beach County,
Florida, and once recorded, sha11 constitute a lien against the property of the original amount
upon which the violation existed and upon any other real or personal property owned by the
Respondent, pursuant to Chapter 162, Florida Statutes, for the original amount.

Animals Running at Large
The Respondent, Robert M. Miller was not present at the hearing, however, there was a finding
of proper notice. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer testified to the violation.
Conclusion of law is that Respondent, Robert M. Miller, was in violation of Chapter 10 Article
11 Sec. 10-34 Page CD 10:5, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta. However,
the Respondent is no longer in violation of Chapter 10 Article II Section 10-34 Page CD 10:5, of
the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Tequesta.
Special Master ponlon ordered that Respondent Robert Miller shall continue to comply with
Chapter 10 Article II Section 10-34, Page CD 10:5 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of
Tequesta.

proper notice. The Tequesta Code Enforcement Officer testified to the violation, and the
Respondents continued efforts to comply.
Special Master ponlon ordered that this matter is continued and a Status Hearing will be held
before the Special Master on the 28�` day of April 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Council Chambers,
Tequesta Recreation Center, 399 Seabrook Road, Tequesta, Florida.
