Attached is a resolution requesting an allocation of $21,873.00 for the purchase
of an 800 MHz radio repeater system.
This radio repeater must be operational by August 11, 2005, in order to maintain
the 800 MHz license we received last year.
This purchase is considered to be Phase I of an overall project to improve Public
Safety radio communications and provide interoperability with other agencies.
Completion of this phase of the project will not only protect our license, but will
also preserve other options to enhance our radio system without wasting public
funds.
