MGR JHR DIRECI'OR ,/I���� SUBJECT: LEASE RENEWAL DATE: AUGUST 5, 21104 CG MICHAEL R. COUZZO, JR., VILLAGE MANAGER The lease for Suites 304, 304 and 305, currently occupied by Village Administration, is due fot an annual renewal. The lease renewal rate is �61$.50 a square €oot. Total occupancy is 4,929 square feet for a total annual cost of �691,186.50 or a monthly expense of �7,598.88. There has been some concem in the past regarding the air quality in Suite 300. I have discussed this situation wifh Ms. Harriet Smith, Tequesta Corporate Centers Building Manager, and have provided her with three proposals far a comprehensive air quality analysis. Ms. Smith has agreed to pay for the analpsis and to rectify any problems that may be discovered. Additionally, I researched the feasibiliry of relocating Village Admuiistration at a Iesser rate but no suitable locations were found. Those that could possibly have been considered would have required significant structurai changes. Based on d�e above inforn�atian and the eventual move to the new Village Hall, I feel it is in the best intetest of the Village to renew the lease through July 31, 2005.
