Please be advised that approving resolution no. 32-04/05 under `New Business" of the agenda for the
January 13, 2005 Village Council meeting will result in decreasing the 2004-2005 Water Utility Fund #401
budget by $437,095.00.

RESOLUTION NO. 34-04/OS
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA,
UNAPPROPRIATING FUND BALANCE AND DECREASING THE
BUDGETED AMOUNT IN ACCOUNT #401-414-662.634 FOR
FISCAL YEAR 2004/2005 IN THE AMOUNT OF $437,095.00
RELATED TO THE INSTALLATION OF THE WATER MAIN IN
THE TROPIC VISTA SUBDIVISION, AS THE ESTIMATED
CONSTRUCTION COST OF THE PROJECT IN BUDGET YEAR
2004-2005 IS ESTIMATED TO BE $465,000.00
Whereas, Construction costs for the installation of the water main in the
Tropic Vista subdivision is estimated to be $465,000.00 in budget year
2004-2005 and;
Whereas, Account #401-414-662.634, Water Utility, Capital Expansion
Projects, Construction — Water Main extension, Tropic Vista, has a current
budget amount of $902,095.00 and;
Whereas, The Village Council of the Village of Tequesta, Florida desires
to budget only the amount needed to fund the current budget year's cost of
that project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: A Resolution decreasing the budgeted amount in Account # 401-414-
662.634 for Budget Year 2004/2005 by $437,095.00 and un-appropriating Fund Balance
for that amount, which will result in account #401-414-662.634 having an amended
budget amount of $465,000.00 for the 2004-2005 budget year.
THE FOREGOING RES4LUTION WAS OFFERED by Council Member
who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Council
Member , and being put to vote, the vote was as follow:

The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this 13th day of
January 13, A.D., 2005.
