WHITE, PUBLIC SERVICES MANAGER ��� SUBJECT: BUILDING ADDITION / PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE DATE: JANUARY 31, 2005 The following is a brief summary of the above subject: We have budgeted $25,000.00 for the above referenced, the proposal came in $3,000.00 above the original budgeted amount, and therefore we will transfer the additional amount from the Water System Maintenance account. Once the Village Council approves, and we issue the Purchase Order, we can expect construction to begin approximately two (2) weeks later. This addition to providing much needed cover for our stored material, it will give our facility a neater and cleaner appearance. The roof will be built on top of the existing slab at an elevation of ten feet. After reviewing the original construction plans it was determined by the engineer that the existing concrete slab was sufficient for this structure. ' am now waiting for the design plans from the manufacturer and will forward them as soon they are received. A preliminary estimate on the cost of this structure is approximately $ 28, 000.00 .
