Ordinance Number 596 Amending Com�rehensive Plan
The purpose of tlus ordinance is to amend the comprehensive plan to incorporate the
properties located on north us highway one into the jurisdictional boundaries of the Village
of Tequesta.
Advisory Local Planning Agency Hearing: The Advisory LPA held a public hearing to
comply with Florida Statues 163 as it pertains to small scales amendments. One public
hearing is required for the purpose to provide .the general public an opportunity to express
support or opposition to the amendment of the comprehensive plan to incorporate the
annexed properties.
On March 16, 2005 the Advisory Loca1 Planning Agency open the hearing to tIie public. No �
comments were brought forward on Ordinance Number 596 to amend the comprehensive
plan to incorporate the recentlp annexed properties into d�e jurisdictional boundaries of the
Village of Tequesta.
Village Council is the legisl�tive authority and is empowered to enact an ordinance into law.
The enacring of this ordinance will complete the final step in the process of annexarion of
the properties located on the east side of us highway orie located north of Canai Court into
the jurisdictional boundaries of the Village of Tequesta. .
Urdinance Number 597 Amending the Zoning Ma� to a�lv a Zoning Designation
The purpose of this ordinance is to amend the Village of Tequesta's zoning map to apply a
zoning designation of C-2 Community Commercial to a portion of real property located on
the east side of us highwap one nort� of Canal Court containing approximately 1.33 acres.

A public hearing on th� ordinance will be held on March 16, 2005 at 6:30 P.M. at the
V'illage of Tequesta Recreation Center, 399 Seabrook Road, Tequesta, Florida.
This hearing is being conducted for the purpose of affording interested persons the
opportunity to express their views concerning the proposed ordinance. The proposal may '
be inspected in the Office of the Clerk, located at 250 Tequesta Drive, Suite 300,
Tequesta, Florida 33469.
