COUZZO, VTLLAGE MANAGER CC: VILLAGE COLTNCIL, VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA FROM: PATRICE MAQUEDA, ACCOUNTING MANAGER RE: PROPOSED INCREASE IN 2005 WATER UTILITY BUDGET __ _ _ _ _ _ _ In compliance with Ordinance #594, requiring the Finance Director through the Village Manager to advise the Village Council at any time that additional reserves/appropriations are required that will ultimately result in the original budget being exceeded, please be advised that approving the agenda item, Resolution No. 49-04-05, an item on the May 12, 2005 Village Council meeting will result in increasing the current 2005 Water Utility Fund #401 budget by $19,�50.00. 5/5/0512:23 PM RESOLUTION NO. 49-04/05 A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO RECOGNIZE GRANT REVENUE FROM THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $19,950.00 AND TO APPROPRIATE $19,950.00 FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM AT THE WATER PLANT, THEREBY INCREASING THE AMOUNT BUDGETED IN REVENUE ACCOUNT #401-000-334.210 AND INCREASING THE AMOUNT BUDGETED IN EXPENDITURE ACCOUNT #401-242-664.600. WHEREAS; The Village of Tequesta is awarded a grant by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for the purchase and installation of a video surveillance system at the water plant; Whereas; FDLE Grant Award #OS-CJ-L2-07-60-02-094 is a reimbursable grant and the Village must first appropriate and incur the expense. Whereas; This budget adjustment will have no effect on fund balance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF TEQUESTA, PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: A Resolution increasing the budgeted amount in revenue account # 401-000- 334.210 and increasing the budgeted amount in expenditure account # 401-242-664.600 for Budget Year 2004I2005 by $19,950.00. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION WAS OFFERED by Councilmember , who moved its adoption. The motion was seconded by Councilmember , and upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: FOR ADOPTION AGAINST ADOPTION The Mayor thereupon declared the Resolution duly passed and adopted this day of , A.D, 2005.
