NEW BUSINESS: Public Hearing to consider and make recommendations to the Village
Council with regard to Ord. Nos. 5-12 and 6-12.

2. ORDINANCE NO. 5-12
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING ITS CODE OF ORDINANCES AT
CHAPTER 14. BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS. TO UPDATE
REFERENCES TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, THE STANDARD
HOUSING CODE, THE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE
AND THE NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE; AND TO ADOPT LOCAL
AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 1 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE;
FURTHER REPEALING CERTAIN OBSOLETE CODE REFERENCES TO FIRE
DISTRICTS; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER SECTION AND
SUBSECTION OF CHAPTER 14. BUILDINGS AND BUILDING REGULATIONS.
SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED;
PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE AND
AUTHORITY TO CODIFY; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
3. ORDINANCE NO. 6-12
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
TEQUESTA, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VILLAGE CODE OF ORDINANCES AT
CHAPTER 78. ZONING. ARTICLE IX. SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS.
DIVISION 4. LANDSCAPING. BY REPEALING THIS DIVISION IN ITS ENTIRETY
AND RE-ADOPTING IT TO PROVIDE "FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPING"
REQUIREMENTS THROUGHOUT THE VILLAGE, AND TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LANDSCAPING, IRRIGATION SYSTEM AND TREE
MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS ON ALL PROPERTIES THROUGHOUT THE
VILLAGE; PROVIDING THAT EACH AND EVERY OTHER SECTION AND
SUBSECTION OF CHAPTER 78. ZONING. SHALL REMAIN IN FULL FORCE
AND EFFECT AS PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS
