Vince Arena is reappointed to a third term as vice mayor.

The council welcomed two new members and reintroduced a third during a reorganization meeting last
week at village hall.
Steve Okun and Frank D'Ambra both ran unopposed for open council seats during last month's municipal
election. Vice Mayor Vince Arena also ran unopposed for a third term on the council, where he occupies
Seat 1. All will serve two-year terms.
They took their oaths of office during the meeting, at which Arena also was reappointed to serve his
second term as vice mayor and Tom Paterno was reappointed for a second term as mayor.
Arena, who first was elected to the council in 2008, serves as the village's representative on the
Loxahatchee River Management Council and North County Intergovernmental Coordination Group.
Okun, who was elected to council Seat 3, has served eight years as a member of the village's planning
and zoning board and is familiar with issues important to residents.
"I'm not a stranger to the village," said Okun, who plans to focus on public safety and children's issues
during his tenure on the council. "I look forward to working with everyone, especially my staff and fellow
council, because everyone is just great."
D'Ambra, who was elected to Seat 5, also has experience with village matters. He served for six months
on the audit committee and currently chairs the public safety pension board.
"I've been very active in village affairs over the last four years," said D'Ambra, a businessman who has
lived in Tequesta since 2003. °I've been to every council meeting and every workshop. I'm very dedicated
to the community and very dedicated to ensuring that citizens' needs are met within Tequesta."
