HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
THURSDAY, AUGUST 27, 2009
1. Cal! to Order and Roll Call
The Village of Tequesta Historic Preservation Committee hefd a regularly scheduled
meeting at the Tequesta Village Hall, 345 Tequesta Drive, Tequesta, Florida, on
Thursday, August 27, 2009. The meeting was called to order at 11:51 a.m. by Chair
Bethany Humpage. Present were Dottie Campbell, Bethany Humpage, Lee Resnik,
and Assistant to the Village Clerk Deanna Mayo. Alice Klimas and Patricia Marie were
absent.
2. Reconsideration of Previous Motion
At their meeting of August 7, 2009, the Comrnittee had considered a quote from Gunn's
Quality Glass & Mirror in the amount of $2,488.00, and a quote from Beacon Glass in
the amount of $3,370.00, (which did not include locks), for glass shelving and doors for
the historical display cabinets in the Village Hall lobby. The Committee had made a
rr�otion to approve the quote from Gunn's Quality Glass & Mirror. Upon fearning from
the Finance Department that three quotes were required, a third quote was obtained
from Precision Glass & Mirror, Inc. and presented for the Committee's consideration.
MOTION
Dottie Campbell made a motion fo a���pt the quc��e from Precision Glass & Mirror �'I
in the amount of $�i,410.00 in lieu of the previously approved quote from Gunn's �
Quality Glass & Mirror in the amount of $2,488.00, since there would be a savings j
of approximately $1,000.00. Lee Resnik se�onded the mot�on, which carried by
unanimous 3-0 votea
