MOTION
Member Campbell made a motion to approve the minutes of the May 13, 2009
meeting as submitted. Member Resnik seconded the motion, which carried by
unanimous 4-0 vote.
2. Discuss and Approve Glass Shelving Option
Village Clerk McWilliams described the proposed display cabinets for the benefit of new
member Patricia Marie, and recommended the Committee accept the proposal from
William H. Murphy to install the cabinetry at $750 and to purchase frosted white film to
cover the back glass for approximately $200, both from this year's budget; and to have
the work completed by September 30, 2009. Village Clerk McWilliams further
recommended the Committee accept the quote from Gunn's Quality Glass & Mirror in
the amount of $2,488.00, to be paid out of next year's budget to begin October 1, 2009.
Ms. Laur reported she had spoken with David Woods of David Woods Window Tinting,
who had offered a$50 discount for the frosted white window covering, since he had that
in stock. The Village Clerk commented there had been previous discussion regarding
purchasing a plaque with past Council and Mayor names and dates with any money left
in this year's budget, which could be added to over the years.

Village Clerlc McWliams requested the Committee do most of the iegwork on projects,
with help from volunteers.
Clerk McWilliams reported the Committee had spent $465 on molding installation,
hooks, and a historical photo from the Palm Beach Post. There was $2,035 remaining.
Anticipated expenses: William Murphy $750; frosted covering for glass $200; cost of a
plaque and possibly gold pieces on the plaque. Mrs. Campbell suggested placing the
plaques of the Council Members and Mayor in the front hall on the wood squares, to
order bases and just keep adding to them; and having Lois Sixberry come over to look
and tell the committee what she proposed. To get a correct list of past Mayors and
Council Members, Village Clerk McWilliams recommended the committee go through
the minute books and make a list with dates.
fihe possibility of getting one cabinet compietely finished before starting the other one
was proposed. Ms. McWilliams expressed concern that there was not time to do that
before September 30 when the fiscal year ended. Chair Humpage nated it was
probably cheaper to get both done at once.
Ms. Campbell had brought historical items to place on the glass shelves, which Village
Clerk McWilliams indicated would be held until the shelves were ready.
MOTION
Dottie Campbell moved approval in the 2008/09 FY budget to hire William Murphy
to provide cabinetry cases for the two windows in the lobby, work to be
completed by 9/30/09 and paid for, and purchase the frosted white window film to
be installed and paid for by 9/30/09. Phase Two will be hiring Gunn's Glass in
next year's budget at $2,498, plus memorial plaques for Mayors and Council
Members from the 2008/2009 budget Chair Humpage seconded the motion,
which carried by unanimous 4-0 vote.
3. Discuss Items to be Placed on Molding
Village Clerk McWilliams thanked Dottie Campbell for her donation of the molding which
had been recently installed in Village Hall, and nine 8-1/2" x 11" frames, and thanked
Betty Laur for a large frame she had donated. Dottie Campbell showed a molding
sample and asked if Mr. William Murphy would give a quote to make frames, as she had
a lot ofi that molding. Mrs. Campbell recommended just getting ptain glass to go into the
frames. Village Clerk McWilliams recommended the committee go through two boxes
of photos from Dottie Campbell and newspaper articles that had been collected, to get
some things into the picture frames and up on the molding. The items could periodically
be switched out. Mrs. Campbell suggested that the 50 Anniversary materials could be
made into a wonderFul montage.

4. Final Approval of Resident List and Letter
An "A" list that would receive the first round of letters was reviewed and corrections
made to the resident list. Village Clerk Mc1/Viltiams advised the committee that staff
would update the list of residents with the information discussed today, create labels
and letters and mail those; and hopefully receive donated items, then move on from
there. Mrs. Campbell asked about contacting businesses, not just residents.
Consensus was to do that later.
5. Schedule next meeting
August 12 at 1 p.m. was set to apply labels and stuff envelopes.
6. Any Other Matters
Village Clerk McWilliams passed around some items she had received: "Camelot
Historic and Cultural Center, Preserving the Treasures of Nature"; and a DVD from
Bruce Valente, a videographer who filmed the Jupiter Inlet underwater video, "Exploring
the Blue" in 2000, which Mrs. Campbell requested to take home to view. Mrs.
Campbell reviewed some photographs and newspaper clippings she had saved.
There was discussion on next March's election and the Tequesta Drive bridge being
closed at that time.
Adjournment Upon motion by Lee Resnik, seconded by Dottie Campbell, the
meeting was adjourned at 11:17 a, m.
