A 6 foot high tennis court fence wouid make it extremely difficult for residents to enjoy the tennis facility, for the obvious reason being that, instead of enjoying the recreation af playing tennis, they would instead be chasing tennis baUs. 2. Although i# is our request to allow for this variance, it is ultimately the residents who will be occupying our project, that would petition this, because in order for them to fully enjoy the facility the fence would have to be 10 ft. high as oppose to 6 ft. high. 3. The granting of the variance will nat confer any special privilege that is denied by this ordinance to other lands, buildings, or structures in #he same zoning district. The tennis court facilities are located within the confines of our property, and will not be visible from any adjoining properties as seen on the site plan. 4. This facility is for the exclusive and private use of our residences. The tennis court fence will be a Gassic green windscreen that will be typical of all tennis court fences. 5. We believe that a 10 foot fence will make possible the reasonable and enjoyable use of the tennis court facilities. 6. However, in the event that a wall, fence, or living hedge is erected or located on a corner lot or a double frontage lot, a vehicular . and pedestrian visibility triangle of a size and dimension which complies with the current tra�c engineering stan- dards of the American Association of State Highway and . �ransportation Officials (AASHTO), and Palm Beach County shall be provided for in both directions from the . '� intersectingpoint of property lines. The maximum height � of any wall, fence or hedge within said visibility triangle . shall be two and one-lialf (2.5) feet. �(d) All clothes lines shall be installed in locations which shall not be conspicuous from the public streets or from adjoin- ing properties. Patio or porch railings may not be used as clothes lines.
